Beyond Belief

My relationship with Vastu didn’t begin with belief. It began with questions.

While working in the architectural industry, I encountered Vastu repeatedly — in client conversations, project decisions, and in the way spaces were evaluated by different consultants. Sometimes it felt insightful, and other times it felt restrictive, disconnected from design language, or driven by fear-based rules that didn’t respect the reality of how people live.

So I decided to learn Vastu for myself — initially with the intention of proving that it didn’t work.

But what happened next surprised me.

The Discovery

As I went deeper, i began to see that when Vastu is understood clearly and applied thoughtfully, it can become a powerful layer — not one that inhibits design, but one that supports it. That’s when I realized the real gap wasn’t Vastu versus design — it was the lack of a bridge between the two.

Aavishkarr was created to be that bridge.
